In Home Displays

The ecoMeter receives real time data from a ‘Smart’ utility energy meters and presents it within the home. The ecoMeter is uniquely able to present both electricity and gas usage feedback to the end user.

In order to present the end user with the most useful feedback the ecoMeter displays:

• Current electricity usage & cost in real time; including graphically
• Historic electricity consumption & cost; including graphically
• Historic gas consumption & cost; including graphically
• Both current and historic greenhouse gas emissions
• Current tariff information

Smart Gas Metering

The Libra 310 Communicaiton module provides smart metering functionality to the Landis+Gyr E6V Electronic domestic gas meter
Used in conjuction with the Landis+Gyr dual fuel solution it offers:

• Communication with the 5236 electricity meter via low power radio
• Historic and current gas consumption & cost information to the ecoMeter
• Remote operation of gas flow allowing disconnect / reconnect via system
• Remote configuration and updates via SMS messaging
  

Smart Metering Software

The back office software allows the utility to have collection and control of the data used to communicate to the Smart Metering products.

The Landis+Gyr Software manages the collection of kWh and profile readings from both the 5236 Electricity Meter and the Libra 310 Gas Meter.

The Landis+Gyr system offers:

• Innovative AMM back office technology is at the heart of the Landis+Gyr Dual Fuel Solution. The Utility driven software couples the most advanced Prepayment functionality with state-of-the-art data acquisition infrastructure and remote meter management capabilities.
• The Utility is in full control of the meters in the field with the ability to perform scheduled reads of meter data for Gas and Electricity meters, together with the capability to update, configure and manage the meters remotely. This brings benefits to the Utility including accurate billing, load profiling and reduced site visits.
• The AMM system can be easily integrated into the Utility’s existing software architecture using a number of different integration techniques, including mimicking current industry flow formats.
• The prepayment functionality allows the consumer to purchase credit via multiple payment channels, including point-of-sale, mobile phone or web. Once a purchase has been made the AMM System will send the credit value to the meter via an SMS message. This tokenless method of payment transfer makes the Landis+Gyr Dual Fuel solution the leading system in today’s energy market.
